Clamping with vacuum tables

Vacuum technology is particularly suitable for work where you have to clamp flat workpieces and workpieces that are flat on the underside. Different flat materials such as foil, cardboard, foam or sheet metal can be attached.

As a result, the geometry of the outer contour also plays no role and can be designed more complex, as this does not hinder the clamping force.

The biggest advantages of clamping with vacuum tables are a short set-up time and good holding force.

A special milling mat can protect the vacuum plate itself from being drilled through during the milling process or from being scored during the cutting process.

Different vice variants

Vices have a very high clamping force and are ideal for milling work in harder materials, as this ensures protection against slipping. A distinction is made here between pull-down, centering and machine vices, which are used depending on the application.

A pull-down vice has a stable and precise mechanism that ensures a particularly high clamping force. As a result, this type of vice can withstand higher forces during the machining process without passing them on to the workpiece.

The centering vice, on the other hand, has a flat design and is ideal for engraving flat materials. However, it can be used for more than just an engraving vice, as there are recesses into which dowel pins can be inserted in order to clamp higher workpieces.

The machine vice, on the other hand, offers a robust design and can therefore ideally withstand all forces acting on it, even during drilling or milling of harder materials.

Slot nuts, clamping claws & Co.

Clamping devices such as clamping claws, clamping elements and t-slot nuts are universal helpers that should not be missing in any hobby cellar or professional workshop. With these clamping devices, both flat and higher workpieces made of a wide variety of materials can be clamped and fixed. Due to their universal application possibilities, these clamping tools prove their worth both in the production of individual parts and in series production.

For example, our clamping claws are made of metal and can be attached quickly and easily to the T-slot plate or slot table using slot nuts. These clamping devices impress with their easy handling as well as their safe and non-slip fastening.

The clamping elements are made of high-performance plastic and are ideal for clamping higher materials. Thanks to the rounded contact surfaces, workpieces with more sensitive surfaces can also be fixed.
